China Tomorrow: Qianhai

24 AUGUST 2015 | HYATT REGENCY SANTA CLARA

ABOUT THE EVENT

China has been long referred to as the factory of the world. But recent years have shown that this economic powerhouse is slowly but surely shifting its focus on quality over quantity. Today, China is not only continuing to open its doors to the world, but it is also creating some of the biggest global brands. With ongoing push for innovation, the modern services sector is increasingly becoming an important pillar of China’s economy.

We invite you to join us for an exclusive panel discussion where we debate the challenges and highlight new investment opportunities in China’s fast growing technology sector. We put a spotlight on Qianhai, a development zone located in Shenzhen (home of tech giants Huawei and Tencent), and take a look at how the zone is facilitating innovation and promoting business excellence to create a world-class modern services industry, particularly the technology sector. We discuss the evolving role of this industry in China’s tomorrow.

China Tomorrow: Qianhai was produced by CNBC Creative Solutions, the branded content and commercial production unit of CNBC International.
